Our philosophy is simple: aircraft owners deserve transparency, accountability, and confidence. As Lane Aviations Managed fleet has grown, we invested in building an in-house maintenance management department dedicated exclusively to the aircraft we manage. Instead of relying solely on outside maintenance providers, our owners have an experienced team overseeing every maintenance event from start to finish. Our job isn't just to coordinate maintenance, it's to advocate for our owners.

Our Director of Maintenance, Jeff Veazey, brings more than 21 years of aviation maintenance experience to Lane Aviation. Jeff and his team coordinate inspections, maintenance events, and repairs with one objective: keeping every aircraft safe, compliant, and flying with as little downtime as possible. Because our maintenance department supports only the Lane Aviation fleet, every decision is made with our owners' best interests in mind.

Aircraft maintenance should never feel unpredictable. While many maintenance facilities charge labor rates of $170–225 per hour or more, Lane Aviation performs eligible in-house maintenance at a flat labor rate of $100 per hour. We don't view maintenance as a profit center. We view it as a critical service that protects your investment, minimizes downtime, and helps keep ownership costs predictable.

Owning a private aircraft should be enjoyable, not stressful. By combining experienced maintenance oversight, standardized operating procedures, and proactive planning, we've removed much of the uncertainty that has traditionally accompanied aircraft ownership. That's the Lane Aviation difference.

Unexpected maintenance expenses are one of the biggest concerns for aircraft owners. Rather than waiting for a major inspection or repair and issuing a large cash call, Lane Aviation uses a planned maintenance reserve program. Owners contribute a predetermined maintenance reserve based on the aircraft type, typically $500 to $800 per flight hour. These funds accumulate over time in a maintenance reserve account owned by the group of owners and is used to pay for maintenance events as they occur. This approach provides greater financial predictability while helping ensure maintenance is properly funded when it's needed.
